Frequently asked questions about giving with ATHAR
Clear answers about donation balance, receipts, campaign allocations, and what donors can track inside their account.
What is ATHAR?
ATHAR is a charity giving platform that helps donors charge a donation balance and allocate it to available campaigns inside the platform.
How does the donation balance work?
When you charge your ATHAR Donation Balance, the amount becomes a final donation to ATHAR. You can then allocate that balance to active campaigns.
Why do I top up my balance before allocating to a campaign?
The top-up records the donation first. Allocation is a later internal choice that directs already donated balance toward a campaign.
When do I receive a receipt?
A receipt is issued after a successful top-up and remains available in your account when it is ready.
Do I receive a separate receipt for each campaign allocation?
No. Campaign allocation uses balance that was already donated at top-up, so it does not issue a new receipt.
Can I allocate my balance to more than one campaign?
Yes. You can allocate available balance across active campaigns as long as you have enough balance for each allocation.
Can I donate to a completed campaign?
Completed campaigns do not accept new allocations. They may remain visible so donors can understand their status.
What happens when a campaign reaches its goal?
The campaign progress may show that the goal has been reached. New allocations depend on the campaign status set by ATHAR administrators.
Can I see my previous top-ups and allocations?
Yes. Your account page shows your balance activity, including top-ups, allocations, and available receipts.
Can unused balance be withdrawn or transferred?
No. ATHAR Donation Balance is not withdrawable, transferable, or refundable. Unused balance remains available in your account for future allocation.
How are campaigns organized?
Campaigns are organized by category and status. Public campaign pages show campaigns that are eligible for public browsing.
How does ATHAR keep donation tracking transparent?
ATHAR records top-ups, allocations, receipts, and campaign progress as separate events so donor activity is easier to follow.
How do I contact ATHAR about a campaign?
Use the contact page and choose the most relevant inquiry type. The team can review your message through the appropriate channel.
Is the website mobile-friendly?
Yes. The public pages are designed to work across desktop and mobile screens in English and Arabic.
What should I do if I made a mistake during top-up or allocation?
Contact ATHAR through the contact page with the relevant details. The current model does not promise refunds, withdrawals, or transfers.
